BCCI is planning to add Impact Player rule in T20. Including IPL 2023.

In this year’s SMAT (Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy), the Impact Player rule will be applicable.

What is impact player rule? The captain of the team will announce the names of the 4 subs. 1 of these 4 can be impact player and replace of any 11 players.
