The rib cartilage of Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has been broken.

The injury was announced by head coach Brandon Staley on Friday, and Herbert will be listed as "day to day."

Staley said, "I think the CT scan confirmed that", adding that he said "so, we got good news"

Herbert's ability to come back will depend on how comfortable he is, Staley said. "It's such a rotational position"

Hopefully, he will be back soon and play in the next match. He has a recovery window, though we have to wait to see that.
